this event, they have raised over $200,000 that has gone directly

Bicycle Patrol program.
- Major support for local area dental
and other health services at the Mission East Dallas County

assist in providing clothing for needy students

for outstanding Mesquite youth

in recent years to Meadowview School in Mesquite, to assist
in expanding their classroom facilities

to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society
- Working currently with the city on a major Rotary Centennial
Playground Project to provide greatly-enhanced equipment for
the enjoyment of local wheelchair-bound and other handicapped
children
Monetary Support for International Needs
- Donating to the Rotary District 5810 Wheelchair Project
with the Wheelchair Foundation to provide wheelchairs to those
in need locally and internationally (individually, and with
club matching funds)
- Have partnered with Rotary International
to provide funds for medical clinics, schools, and school
buses to serve communities in need in South Africa
- Have donated
to Rotary’s Send-a-Book Project, providing
textbooks for schools in the Philippines
- Have donated to the Medisend
Project, for acquiring and sending surplus medical supplies
to needy communities and hospitals abroad
- Donated to the HALO
Project, which clears land mines in formerly war-torn areas
abroad
- Supporting the Rotary International Polio Plus Campaign
that will soon eradicate polio in the entire world, and is
providing far greater vaccination levels against other common
diseases all over the world
